The majority of the younger Bellisario's screen work has been in projects produced by his father: he made his acting debut in an episode of the 1982-'83 adventure series "Tales of the Gold Monkey" and enjoyed repeat appearances on both "Quantum Leap" and "JAG" before joining the latter series' cast in Season 3. He later returned to Lawrence, where he worked as a mechanic. John appears in a flashback during Mary's hunter's funeral to the family dinner the Winchesters shared when John was pulled to 2019. In terms of movies, he's been in everything from "Tombstone" to "Primal Fear."
